Fall is such a popular time of year to have your photo session done because of the colourful leaves in the background. It makes images so beautiful and vibrant which look stunning on the wall of your home.
Ottawa Fall Mini Sessions are quick and a lot of fun! My goal is to capture the annual family portrait, but these sessions are also perfect for couples, individual portraits, pet photos, anniversary images, maternity, or similar. North Saplings Photography Mini Sessions are scheduled back to back and so I am able to offer a more affordable price and this is a great way to get the annual photoshoot so you can ensure you always have up to date professional photos.

Don't you think that Holidays always seems to be around the corner (no matter what time of year)! If you're anything like me, planning for Christmas starts early including figuring out your holiday cards, so it’s never too early to get a head start and book your annual Holiday photoshoot!
Christmas mini sessions are shorter photo sessions (around 15 minutes) compared to my full sessions that are up to 1 hour long. Since these sessions are held when it's typically already cooler outside - shorter time allows for everyone not to get chilly and have a cheerful mood throughout!

Yes! To confirm any booking a sign Client Agreement and completed retainer payment is required. Until these steps are done, you session/event is not guaranteed. Client Agreement is a must and there are no exceptions offered.
No. Unedited (RAW) files are not available for viewing or purchasing.
All payments are currently handled
via e-transfer to hello@northsaplingsphotography.com or a link provided in our communication to pay via Credit Card.
If you decide to cancel your session/event for any reason - the retainer fee or full mini session fee is non-refundable as per client contract.
If inclement weather such as rain, abnormal climatic conditions, or events, regulations that are out of my control, or other adverse conditions prevent the creation of images meeting the artistic standards of North Saplings Photography, I may/must elect to use an alternate location or to reschedule the session and it does not constitute issuing a refund to the Client (does not apply for weddings, please see below).
If for any other reason, than what's been mentioned above, I’m not able to photograph upon the agreed day and time and I’m not able to find a substitute photographer – a full refund will be provided within 28 days.
That’s okay! Many children are shy or have a hard time with posing for photos - which is why we forget the posing and just get you all hanging out and loving on each other! Depending on the age of your child(ren) we may elect a few activities for your session so it gets your little one(s) excited, and at ease which then will allow me capture those natural smiles. Please keep in mind that if kids or other subjects don't engage during the session/event (a.k.a. smile and look at the camera) - re-shoots or refunds don't apply.
No. My aim is to capture subjects as authentic and real as possible. If there's a scar or a pimple (something that is temporary and would go away in 2 weeks) I will absolutely edit it out of your images. I also don't swap faces in photoshop, but this can be requested for an additional fee indicated in the Client Agreement.
I've put together a Wardrobe Guide for my clients to help them choose their best outfits. Once your session or event is confirmed, I will then share the wardrobe guide with you so you can pull inspiration and ideas from!
Nope. It is not fair to all my other fully paying clients to offer discounts.
No. Images I deliver are given in their final edited form and may NOT be edited in any way by anyone, including adding filters and/or cropping (social media websites, such as Instagram, are excluded from the cropping clause). The client agrees that the finished artwork product that I provide is the copyrighted image and is final.
