First off, if you’ve never had photos taken before - it’s going to be waaaay easier and more fun than you probably expect!
A typical lifestyle session will start off by spending a few minutes together just hanging out. If kiddos are involved this will give them a chance to get used to me and let off a little bit of energy in the process. For couples, this is also an opportunity to share more about their story to capture them in the most authentic way.

Terms & Conditions
Whether buying it for your partner, parents, children, or friends, the gift of professional photography is sure to be received with delight and excitement!
You can gift any amount and your recipient can use it towards any type of photography offered by North Saplings Photography.
Once I customize your card with a name and personal message, you and the receiver will get a digital copy by email. I can also mail a beautiful hardcopy to you or directly to the recipient, as a surprise.

- The amount indicated in the Gift Card can be used to cover the session fee and digital files. No prints, canvas, or any other art displays can be covered with that amount.
- Gift Cards do not have an expiry date.
- Gift Cards can only be redeemed with North Saplings Photography. They may be exchanged for goods/services of a higher price than the face value of the card only on payment of the difference.
- The photography session is to be held at a time and location agreed to by the photographer and is non-refundable, but can be rescheduled due to weather or illness.
- The photography session is to be held within 45 km of the North Saplings Photography office in Constance Bay unless stated otherwise on the Gift Card.
Gift Cards are not transferable and not redeemable for cash. Gift Cards are not refundable in whole or in part.
- North Saplings Photography will not accept liability for lost, stolen, or damaged Gifts Cards.
- Should a recipient wish to purchase further prints/albums over and above the value of their gift cards, then these will be charged at our normal rates.
- The Gift Card may be used towards any of North Saplings Photography services listed on THIS PAGE. Please note, investment and pricing packages might change without notice.

I enjoy being both involved and discrete throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done and keep everyone on schedule. There will also be moments when I blend in and not draw attention to myself (i.e. the ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.). I teach my couples how to pose and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from me!
I average 60-80 final images per hour that I am actively shooting throughout the day. I love delivering my client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I was in your shoes!
All payments are currently handled

I include a complimentary engagement session because this is our opportunity to get to know you and empower you to feel comfortable in front of the camera! This also allows you to feel a lot more relaxed on your wedding day, because you have already had a chance to work with me and thus feel like a friend is showing up to document your day vs. just another vendor.
I recommend booking with me 9 to 12 months in advance. If your Wedding is closer, please reach out to me to see if your date is still available! I am now booking wedding dates for 2023 (limited dates left) and 2024 wedding season.
I have opened my photography business in 2017, but my photography journey started about 16 years ago. I am confident to photograph in various environments and have professional gear to make any lighting situation work. I have lived in 4 different countries and work with people from many different backgrounds every day and thus I'm am able to adapt & adjust my interactions to ensure positive experience throughout.
That’s okay! Many children are shy or have a hard time with posing for photos - which is why we forget the posing and just get you all hanging out and loving on each other! Depending on the age of your child(ren) we may elect a few activities for your session so it gets your little one(s) excited, and at ease which then will allow me capture those natural smiles. Please keep in mind that if kids or other subjects don't engage during the session/event (a.k.a. smile and look at the camera) - re-shoots or refunds don't apply.

No. Images I deliver are given in their final edited form and may NOT be edited in any way by anyone, including adding filters and/or cropping (social media websites, such as Instagram, are excluded from the cropping clause). The client agrees that the finished artwork product that I provide is the copyrighted image and is final.
